Divine healing

Divine is healing that is wrought absolutely by the Divine power of God Almighty. Not God and man, or God and medicine, not God and…. It is healing by God alone. Many people think that divine healing is something of the past, it's not for our day, but that statement is a true as someone saying salvation is something of the past, or something that isn't for our day. BOTH were atoned for at the cross. Divine healing is without for the people of God today. It is for ALL who will come in faith believing-according to God's Word.

James 5:14,15 Is ANY sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up…

The Lord is still able and willing to raise the sick from their condition if they come to Him as the scriptures tell them to. What does it take for a person to be healed today? Faith in God!

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

What will faith in God do?

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

With that in mind Jesus said,

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Many are the promises of God concerning this wonderful benefit to the children of God.

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Let's notice this prophecy of Christ being fulfilled in the New Testament.

Matthew 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: {Why?} That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

According to these verses, the fulfilling of the prophecy was to heal ALL!

Psalms 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

GOD, speaking through the apostle told His Will for our soul and body.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
